Admissions:
Q How much is tuition?
Tuition is based on a 10 month calendar and is $280 per month
Q Are there any other fees?
There is a curriculum fee of $150. This helps defray the cost of curriculum. Also, we do an independent baseline test besides the preliminary placement test and the cost of that is $65.
We do not charge an application fee or administrative fees.
Q Do you have options other than the morning or afternoon classes?
Yes. We offer anything from helping a parent set up a system/curriculum for their child to being a learning coach to home schooling your child for you. Call or e-mail us to find out how we can meet your needs.
General:
Q Is there a dress code?
Students are to dress and groom themselves in a manner that is modest, clean and appropriate to a Christian home environment
Q What is your attendance policy?
Our contract is with the student and the parent. We will abide by the parents requests that are written into the contract
Q What are the student's rights?
Students are treated with respect and as a person. In return, we expect respect and to be treated as people.
Q What are your disciplinary procedures?
First, we talk with the student, then with the parents and we all decide what should be done. We do not suspend unless there is a threat of bodily harm or abuse of another person.
Home School:
Q Is this a private school or home school?
We home school the children.
Q What are the laws to home school?
In the state of Oregon you must do two things to home school your child 1.) You must register as a home schooler. 2.) You must test at the end of grades 3, 5, 8 and 10
We will make sure that you meet both these requirements upon registration.
Q Is it okay for someone else to home school my child?
Yes. You can home school your child during any hours or choose another person or many persons to home school your child.
